Donkey Basketball

The Bainville FFA once again hosted Donkey Basketball, and invited the saddle club to participate. The first game the Culbertson FFA beat the Bainville FFA. The second game the Culbertson Saddle Club beat the Bainville Volunteer Fire Department. In the consolatoin round, the Fire Department beat the Bainville FFA. In the Championship game, the Saddle Club overpowered a young Culbertson FFA team. The night was full of laughter and spills and thrills and so not smooth donkey riding skills and basketball skills. We were happy to support the local FFA chapter and had fun doing it!! By the way, 2 years ago the saddle club was also the Donkey Basketball Champions!

2008 CSC Labor Day Wagon Train
August 30th & 31st

Labor Day Weekend is fast approaching, and the Saddle Club is trying to get a jump-start on our planning. Due to the cost of food and transportation we have moved the adult price up to $100 this year.

For those of you planning of joining us Labor Day Weekend, please drop us an email at culbertsonsaddleclub@hotmail.com and let us know how many you think maybe coming. This would help us tremendously in ordering our foods and supplies. The only penalty for responding and not showing up is missing out on all the fun.

Thank you for you help in allowing us to plan a great wagon train.

Frontier Days Rodeo

WOW!!! What a rodoe weekend. We had an tremendous turnout for our 46th Frontier Days. The contestant number was double than last year, and spectators showed up to support us. We thank all of our cooks, arena help, ticket takers, bartenders, and all those that ran around and picked up the slack and did the odds and ends. Thank you very much.

For 46 years, Culbertson Saddle Club has been showcasing western heritage, and with some luck, we will be holding our Frontier Days rodeo for another 46 years. Our unique tiered parking and FM Broadcasting allows spectators to enjoy Frontier Days Rodeos come rain, wind, or sunshine. Please join us this year on June 20th and 21st as we keep our rodeo tradition alive.
